Ghostbusters 19 september 2007 to 11 januari 2008 •Ghostbusting. Touki Delphine on how it works. Under the name Touki Delphine, the young guard of the Veenfabriek (Rik Elstgeest, Bo Koek and John van Oostrum) performs the music theatre production Ghostbusters . In this performance, as true heroes they chase the ghost of fear that renders our society unsafe. more
Stricken Souls 1 december to 10 december 2006 •In its performance Zieke Zielen, the Veenfabriek bridges the gap between the hospital world and the outside world. more
Suppliants On Friday April 21 Euripides’s tragedy The Suppliants opened in the Leidse Schouwburg. For this music theatre production the Veenfabriek collaborated with the Greek Theseum ensemble. Paul Koek and Michael Marmarinos co-directed the performance. Apart from eight Dutch and Greek actors, the cast consisted of five musicians (among whom three members of the former Dutch ‘sample pop’ group Kopna Kopna) whose wayward compositions approach this tragedy as if it were a concert. more

Dutch premiere of The City
After the successful production Attempts on her Life (TF-selection 2008), the Veenfabriek stages another text by the British playwright Martin Crimp. The City , his most recent play, will have its Dutch premiere on February 25th 2010 in the Scheltema Complex in Leiden. Subsequently, there will be a tour through the Netherlands. The City will be performed by Reinout Bussemaker, Anneke Blok, Yonina Spijker, Ton van der Meer and four students from the mimeschool in Amsterdam.
