These are only a few of the 576 questions taken from a personality test that is given to juvenile delinquents. This questionnaire, a scientific method serving to take stock of man in all his many guises, has been adapted by the Veenfabriek as a concert libretto. Confrontational and comforting music serves as a guideline, supplemented by various ingredients: performance, dance and video art. The title Sharing the Same Shade refers to the self-image of a person evoked by this test. To what extent do you recognize yourself in that image? And when does that image begin to determine your life?
