Track Poetry 11 februari 2007 to 5 april 2008
In 2006, Track, the improvisation ensemble consisting chiefly of percussionists, accompanied Dutch actor Jeroen Willems in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. The audience was absolutely delighted and the press wrote:’Well-balanced, professional and performed with great refinement, focus and dedication" (Trouw, 23.05.06) This resulted in the idea underlying Track Poetry: an accessible, poetic concert that does not shun the confrontation between lines with music. Stirring music, beautiful words and infectious performances prevail. Track acts as the set value; during each performance two different poets share the stage with them.
